Murder…

Murder at Outlaw Cabin

My wife and I are going to do the Read-Out-Loud edit for the first three of four acts. Then, I’ll write the last act and publish the book later in the week. We have a 3-day weekend because of the holiday (did I mention I work for a credit union?). I also finished outlining the first three acts of Ghost Falls Killings

New Covers

I received all the covers for the remaining books. The covers are just waiting for me to finish the writing and editing. Woot! Here are the covers:

Estimated Publish Dates

  • Murder at Outlaw Cabin will be published by the end of next week (Feb 25, 2025)
  • Ghost Falls Killings will be published by the end of March (Mar 31, 2025)
  • The Deadly Design will be published by the end of April (Apr 30, 2025)

Those dates are the latest they should arrive. I expect them to be published a little earlier. For example, Murder at Outlaw Cabin might be published on Monday night (2/17/2025). Assuming I have enough time to hammer out the remaining scenes and edit them on Sunday and Monday.

Blurbs

In case you’re wondering what each book is about, I do have blurbs:

Murder at Outlaw Cabin:

When three friends set out to conquer Lone Peak, and camp out at Outlaw Cabin, only one makes it back. The bodies of the other two are discovered the next day, their deaths shrouded in mystery with no clear cause. As whispers of foul play ripple through their tight-knit community, Q is determined to uncover the truth.

Teaming up with Fin, his best friend with a level mind, and Bolt, his secret robot dog, Q dives headfirst into a web of secrets surrounding his military friends. What begins as a quest for answers quickly escalates into a race against time as the trio unravels clues that point to a killer who knows the terrain—and their every move.
With danger lurking around every corner, Q, Fin, and Bolt must rely on their wits and each other to outsmart a murderer who’s been hiding in plain sight. But their friends had more secrets than they ever imagined, and the closer they get to the truth, the more they realize: some mysteries were meant to stay buried.

Ghost Falls Killings:

When the peaceful neighborhood of Suncrest is shaken by a string of eerie deaths near the infamous Ghost Falls, everyone whispers of a curse. But Q knows better—there’s no such thing as ghosts… just clever criminals. Armed with his sharp mind and the help of his trusty dog, Bolt—who the town thinks is just a loyal companion but is secretly a highly advanced robot—Q sets out to solve the mystery.

As Q and Bolt dig deeper, they uncover a trail of hidden secrets, buried grudges, and suspicious alibis. With each new clue, the duo comes closer to exposing the truth behind the “ghostly” murders, but someone in Suncrest will stop at nothing to keep the past buried.

In a neighborhood full of superstitions and small-community charm, can Q and his metal companion catch the killer before the falls claim another victim?

Perfect for fans of cozy mysteries with a techy twist, Ghost Falls Killings is a heartwarming tale of loyalty, clever sleuthing, and a little robotic mischief!

The Deadly Design:

Q is asked to consult on a new high-tech home being designed for a wealthy client, but his excitement turns to dread when the architect is found dead in what appears to be a freak accident. As he and Bolt investigate, Q realizes the “accident” was anything but—and the deadly design might hold clues to a motive buried deep in the architect’s past.
